You can read for yourself in this New York Times article: "Obama Says Government Health Coverage Plan Would Not Hurt Private Insurers" As the saying goes, "If you think it's expensive now, wait until it's free." |

| National Health Care Reform is on the Fast Track. We have 2 choices - Get out of the way and let what ever happens happen; OR, speak up and let our elected members of Congress know we have ideas that come straight from the front lines. Our voice can be powerful but only if enough of us speak up. At this meeting you’ll learn: · How to find out who is your elected member of U.S. Congress · How easy it is to meet with them locally in their District Office · How to make an appointment in their District Office · What your talking points should be when you meet them Personally, everyone should take Alan Katz's advice, "Health Care Reform Is Coming. Don't Panic." As you will read in his blog, there's probably not as much to worry about as we may think. However, Alan does remind us and says, "If you care about the issue you need to make your voice heard." |
